My wife and I were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary and we were looking for a bed and breakfast in Philadelphia. We found this place on Trip Advisor and we were not disappointed. It is a lovely old house filled with antiques and comfortable rooms. Marney Hague, the owner, was a very gracious host, giving us not only a history of the house, but of the neighborhood and even a bit of history of Philadelphia. We stayed in the Parlor Room and were very comfortable. Breakfast with Marney was very relaxing; it was more like staying with an old friend than staying at a B&B. Yes, there are cats that roam the house. If you are allergic to cats, this may not be the place for you. However, if you love cats (WE DO!) they were gracious ambassadors. Parking can be a little wonky if you arrive late, but it still should not be a problem. I not only recommend this B&B, but we would like to return here again.
